Surprise! It’s no-theme!
I decided it was time for a good, old, cardboard-city for my hamsters to explore. As much as I love a beautiful, themed playpen, interesting cardboard makes a great canvas for hamster foraging and exploration!
It might not be as visually pleasing for photos, but what it lacks in looks it makes up in enrichment for the hams.

I’ve become a devout lover of the Omlet Playpens - I leave one up all the time so I have a safe space for my hamsters to explore. For this month’s cardboard set up, I used the Luftpets Guinea Pig Liners to make clean up easier - I love that they don’t get caught on hamster nails and are absorbent for hamster pees (plus, easy to wash!)
